His team is 20-1 and is in the semis of the District tourney. They lost the final regular season game. Ranked No. 4 in 3A.

Wonder if he'll actually want to mix it up inside or be launching threes with Budnich outside?

Not taking anything away from the dunk, but really, our point guards should be able to dunk like that! 8)

True the dunk was just one of several good plays in the sequence. The dunk itself wasn't a LBJ move, but the smarts were. Just all around heady play from start to finish. BB IQ and teammate-trust/teamwork on display. As the play-by-play notes below the vid, the defender initially forces the ball-handler to his weak side, trusting perhaps that his teammate picks up on this and doubles. As the player that double-teams steals and takes it up court he draws two defenders toward him and delivers the ball to his teammate, who trusts from practice and previous successful plays that the hustling Shannon will be following and at the ready on the play, and he bounces the ball off the backboard for the dunk. Then, the entire team races back down court and funnels the ball-handler into a waiting defender for the charge.

Most BSC BB fans, especially outside of Ogden and Msla, haven't seen (nor would they recognize) very many sequences like this all year.

Our point guard would have dribbled it off his foot and the play would have resulted in a turnover.

Nice dunk. I hope he can pass and shoot? We will need that next year.

Even more than that, I hope he can rebound and play tough, smart low-post defense. Some of our guys get outmuscled for rebounds on the defensive glass, and our zone D gets fooled too often underneath the basket.
