From the Dallas Cowboys site...

"Although Bill Parcells said this week he has "too many players" to evaluate everyone, the Cowboys added another Tuesday, signing defensive end John Taylor, giving the club 82 players on the roster. Taylor (6-3, 260) was a fourth-round draft pick of the Lions in 2002, but spent his rookie year on Detroit's practice squad and then last year with the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League. Taylor virtually replaces the spot of Kevin Emanuel, the rookie free agent from Florida State who was released by the Cowboys Monday, after not playing in Saturday's preseason loss in Houston."

I'd even feel sorry for a griz if he had to put up with Parcells. Playing for Parcells is one thing (the guy is a proven winner), but putting up with him is something else altogether. Don't know how many of you saw the 60 Minutes interview, but basically the guy constantly strives to be a miserable ass and generally pissed off under the theory that when he's happy he's "satisfied", and he can never allow himself to be "satisfied".
Then there's Jones........
But John Taylor is a special guy and if there's a way he will find it.

Raincat, I always had the same sentiments as you regarding Parcells until I read that Joe Montana said that Parcells is the one person he wished he'd had the opportunity to play for.
