Looking at the new recruits

Post by Gidal Kaiser » Mon Aug 06, 2012 11:26 pm

http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/ap ... s/?p=10643 A four-part series looking at the MSU basketball recruits of 2012-2013. Part 1: What MSU lost.

Part 2 will be grading the new guys coming in. Part 3 will be who has the most impact for both this season and long-term. Part 4 is a look at the Big Sky recruits for 2012-2013 as a whole (mostly focused on MSU, UM, Weber and one or two other teams I forget offhand).

I hate that I've become so cynical about MBB, but my first thought when I saw the title of this thread was "who cares....none of them will stick around through their senior seasons anyway". For that matter, a couple of them may be gone in less than a year. My feelings about MBB have become painfully similar to the way I felt about FB back in the bad old days of the Solomonson era.

This year I am finally smartening up. I am buying season tickets to the Lady Cats.

http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/ap ... s/?p=10659 Here is part 2 of ranking the recruits. We break down each player. Minus one. *Spoiler alert* MSU got itself ANOTHER guard for the upcoming season: http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/ap ... s/?p=10675. Obviously, he was not in the above post, but I will add some notes on the upcoming part 3 post.
