Baseball Playoffs

Post by Ponycat » Wed Oct 05, 2005 2:37 pm

What are everyone's predictions for the baseball playoffs.

I'm hoping for the Astro's, White Sox, Angels and Padres but if I was a betting man I'd go with the Astro's White Sox, Yankees and Cardinals.

There just lucky the Mets aren't in there. :bag:

Braves, White Sox, Cards and Angels.

I'm a big Braves fan, but as with every other year since my early child hoood i am trying not to get my hopes up, but still have faith. After obviously rooting for Atlanta, I root for whoever is playing the yankees. I hate the goddamn Yankees! THe devil they are!

PS Andruw Jones just hit a two run dinger....can anyone say MVP!!!

Can anyone say the post season doesn't count in MVP voting. There may be a certain Cardinal that gets that award.

I am well aware that the postseaon does not count toward the MVP vote. However, I still stand by my opinion that Jones is the most valuable player to his team. If it wasn't for Jones continuing to step up during the regular season, then the Braves would probably be sitting at home right now. Pujols is one of the top players that the league has ever seen, however, I don't feel that he is the MOST valuable this year to his team. I will agree that he will most likely win the award, but I can still hope for Andruw.

Jones had a great year granted. But everybody feels guilty for giving Bonds the award the last couple of years when Pujols was putting up Hall of fame numbers. Granted Bonds was putting up Greatest player of all time on juice numbers.

I agree that Pujols has deserved it without a doubt the last few years and was shafted, at least Jones and Pujols are in the playoffs while Bonds is at home fueling up on some "natural enhancements."

As far as the playoffs, what has happened to the BoSox. Good lord did they get shelled yesterday! I guess they did go on to win eight in a row last year so it can happen.

Yankees, Astros, Cards, and Red Sox (though I won't be cheering for them) with the Yankees beating the Astros in 6 for the rings.

I hope none of you had any money on your predictions!
