A predictable loss, but not a 40 point blowout like this team was susceptible to last season (remember at New Mexico).

Pepperdine and San Jose State on Thursday and Saturday respectively-should be interesting. Your playoff football ticket gets you a free ticket to the San Jose State game-tip off is noon. A good way to make the afternoon pass a little quicker waiting for the football game.

I watched parts of the game off and on, on the Pac12 network. Overall the game was pretty sloppy by both teams. The Cats didn't do much other than get hot a couple times, but overall they didn't really ever get an offense going. It felt a lot like pickup ball instead of an organized game plan. OSU is a middle to bottom of the pack Pac12 team. They seemed to not have t exert much effort to beat us.

Strangest thing during the game? OSU was wearing turquoise blue jerseys! They had on N7 jerseys for Native American Heritage Month.

The only lighthouse of hope: The Big Sky is pretty terrible this season. The biggest league win might be Sac State over Utah-and Utah is bad. I don't know what the league's cumulative D-1 record is in the non-conference season, but I would guess it's very bad. I see a lot of losses. So MSU fits right in and should be competitive in the league.

I agree. There doesn't appear to be any standout teams in the Big Sky.

I sure wish the Cats would get their s*** together and be competitive.
