Personal Avatars

Everyone should explain their avatar, although most of them are probably self-explanatory.

Anyone know what mine is from?

Mine means I'm to computer illiterate to figure out how to get a cool picture on my Avatar.

Trust me Ponycat, if I can figure it out anyone can (though I did have to have my son resize the pic so it would work).

I was looking for an alpaca slipping on ice, but could only come up with a polar bear slipping. Still funny, but could you imagine an alpaca! Classic...

My avatar is Brock Samson, from "The Venture Bros", an [ adult swim ] cartoon on late at night. He is voiced by Putty from Seinfeld. Comical gold.

I don't care who you are, that's funny right there! ANY time that "Putty's" voice is used, it is hilarious!

I like it because it is a bear ---> griz, and it has fallen :P (a stretch for smack, but hey)

Mine is actually from the BSC site from ESPN.com

As a side note, a good site for avatars is Free Avatars @ Jurko You might not want to visit the site if you don't have a popup blocker, but you can get one of those for free if you get the google or yahoo toolbar (they are so nice to have).

Click on the pic (if its 80x80 or less, less than 6 KB), click on it again in the next page, then copy the url and paste it into the "Upload Avatar from a URL:" in your "Profile", click "Submit", and Walaaa, your Avatar appears.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I am so with you. But, with the explanation of how to go to the avatar site, I might not have an excuse anymore

I'm not very creative so I just found a picture of a Bobcat and went with it.
