This has been a fun second half after the bad start where nau had an 8-0 run. The jacks and cats have gone back and forth. 52-51 cats

NAU's coach gets the loss for this one. Seems like Dixon should have had the ball at the end of the game for them. Davis had a great game tonight and overall this has been a great weekend for the Cats.

This was a fun game to attend and watch. The Cats did a nice job building a lead and let it slip at the end of the first half. They came out cold and for the rest of the game, it was a back and forth battle. MSU surged ahead with a few minutes to go, but at the end, with the game tied, Michael Dison took a charge with six seconds left and hit the floater as time expired. Michael Dison and Flavien Davis had great games and the rebounding was much better. NAU still made a good number of threes, but in the end, one stat matters the most: the Bobcats scored two more points than NAU. It was a nice win!

I'm trying to suppress too many hopeful feelings, but the first weekend went great for the Bobcats. 2-0 is a nice place to sit after week 1.

GO CATS!

Entertaining game, NAU shot lights out from outside to erase any MSU lead, but Davis made some fantastic plays in the second half to keep MSU in it. Great play by Dison at the end to win it after taking a charge on defense. And dare I say, other than a terrible foul call on a clean steal by Biglow, the referees were actually...good! A couple of younger guys I hadn't seen before. On the road next weekend which will be tough - ironically the only BSC team to lose at home this weekend was UM with its 32-game home conference win streak.

Also, the curtains to keep the crowd sitting closer to the court do a nice job improving the atmosphere a bit. But it's pretty sad that attendance has plummeted to the point that they are needed.

Classic ending: Dison takes charge, hit game-winner as MSu moves to 2-0 in conference. http://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/sp ... 963f4.html

Thanks to Gidal for posting the video on the Chronicle website. The video deserves its own post. The shot is early on:
