Men's DMR team earns Big Sky Athlete of the Week honors

MSU PRESS RELEASE

The Big Sky Conference announced the Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday and a very speedy quartet of Bobcats tooks the honors. The Men's Distance Medley Relay made their season debut on Friday, Feb.7 with a time of 9:45.60 at the MSU Invitational.

Michael Asay, Marcus Swan, Matthew Tex and Jacob Kirk crossed the finish line more than 30 seconds ahead of second place with a time that now ranks them 23rd in the nation and third in the Bobcat Track and Field record books and first in the Big Sky Conference.

This is Kirk's second honor this season.

Montana State return to action this Friday, Feb. 14, when they host Montana and Weber State at the MSU Dual.
