Parent's Investment properties for kids at MSU

Post by BozemansTallestRealtor » Wed Feb 26, 2014 7:56 pm

Does anybodies parents ever think about purchasing a property for their kids to live in while at school, instead of just renting? The income from roommates could subsidize tuition and expenses, while having equity in real estate.

It would be interesting to know more - Let me know your thoughts!

OOH, I want to buy something. As soon as I have a kid I'm in.

My parents did that. My brother and I still had to pay rent, and we took in two room mates. The rent paid the mortgage and insurance. It was a good idea.
