At this point, I would rather (and have) watch Wichita State play basketball than the Bobcats. I honestly didn't realize that the Cats were playing the griz the other day, and quite frankly don't care that the Cats lost- I wouldn't have cared if the Cats would have won. MY interest in MSU basketball is virtually nil.
Well done Huse and Fields. You have killed MSU's basketball program. It only took 8 years! That there is impressive.

Honestly I've had it. The last game I went to was about 3-4 years ago in Bozeman against EWU, it was the same time Waded came on board because she was out and about in the crowd. There was some optimism as the team started out strong but fell into the typical swoon. I used to go to the games against Wyoming at the Metra, those were fun even though there were more folks up from WY than for the Cats. I have no more interest until they clean house in both programs and build some winning teams. This is getting old. Mediocrity is not acceptable.

I'm not there yet though sometimes I wish I was. I used to go to almost every home game. Now I only go sporadically and when I get a free ticket or there's a cheap ticket deal. But I still pay attention too much. My winters will be a lot better when I stop caring altogether. I can't be more than a season or two away from getting there.

I hope you're right but I seriously doubt it.

Trust me...I will never lead you wrong. The bad is gone from this year, the young will be great, and the new will be even better...

I too hope you are right. I had a bit of optimism coming into this season but have been disappointed in the team's results. I believe we still make the playoff with one more win but I am not altogether sure that would be best for the program. I'll still be a fan but it is getting hard to watch.

MSU basketball to me is fond memories of the past, but in the present it's just a semi-entertaining way to fritter away time. Bobcat football I still go nuts for, and woe betide anyone who tries to stand in the way of my watching the game, because verily will I f***eth thy s*** up, with biblical vengeance, but B-ball? Meh. I'll just look at the box score tomorrow.
I'm just one of many.
