yeah and Kurt Warner has more super bowl rings than Dan Marino. Is he better? lets compare apples to apples.
It is entirely possible for Cole to have more postseason yards as a frosh than Travis has for a career. This is fact.
Re: Warner vs. Marino - If we are comparing apples to apples, then compare Marino's post-season yardage to Warner's. Marino has over 4510 playoff yards. Warner has less than 3,000.
You are implying that Marino is the better quarterback than Warner. And through this "apples to apples" analysis whereby our criterion is post-season passing yards, you are correct. Marino has more post-season passing yards than Warner. By extension, Cole could wind up with more post-season yards than Lulay by the end of this season which, by your own standards, makes him the more productive QB.
You actually made my point for me.
The POINT is there IS NO point
"Cole could..." and the sky COULD fall, the COULD turn to Cheese, and Um could beat the cats...
Could... doubtful... unlikely AND won't happen Chicken Little

Jesus, are you really this oblivious? Yes, there is a point. The point, which I EXPICITLY STATED was that Cole could finish his frosh season with more postseason yards than TL has for his entire career. Thuss attempted to counter with a point about Marino and Warner which backfired because it further validates my statement.
Now you claim that it is "unlikely" that this will happen. You are, of course, wrong. We only need two of the remaining three to make the playoffs. I feel pretty confident about the NAU and Sac State games. That means that we are in. Then comes the Brawl which will be a tough game, as always, but our record in this series (and in Bozeman) over that last 20 years or so has been pretty good. So we are probably looking at home for the playoffs. Griz home record during the playoffs? Unparalleled.
So which part of this is unlikely?

The way Bergquist played today at NAU, I don't see him passing ANY records of Lulays.... 10/26 for 80 yards and an INT.

He has been sick as a dog all week plus recovering from cheap shot concussion is last week's W. Tremendous effort to even suit up and play.

I think that's actually Big Sky Conf policy. From what I understand, it wasn't a full blown concussion but rather a "lingering bell-ringer" that he decided to play down so as not to miss playing time. Please don't quote me on that part, it's just what I heard. The illness is true, however.

Don't know. The concussion part could be completely false and I am not saying more b/c I truly do not have any credible insider info and I do not want the rep as a rumor monger.
If I can't get away with a Bobby Hauck sock, and I not going start issuing medical opinions about the players!

Cole did not have a concussion. If he even had a mild concussion NO athletic trainer would have cleared him to play in the NAU game. If Cole had a concussion and played it would only be due to the fact that no one new about it. This is just a crappy excuse for crappy play. Cole is not a good QB. Why can’t Griz fans simply accept that?

Well, you certainly sh!t the bed on that one.
1. This whole discussion was based on internet chat and, thus, should probably be disregarded.
2. You repeated exactly what I said - that if Cole did have a concuss the only reason he played is because he kept it to himself.

Yeah maybe Hauck should start contacting UMclass2002 for information on his teams injuries.
It would have been nice for the coach to have known his starting QB was near death sick and had a concussion.
Sounds like HORRIBLE excuses for sub-par play.
