He knows we have a great running game and was concerned about the passing game this last weekend, as he should have been. He also said that last weekends film shows a lot of the offensive people out of position and with the aid of film he can teach th O what they need to correct and it will be worked on all this week in practice. I feel we will see a differant team on the field this weekend. He also wanted Lulay to stay in the pocket to build confidence in the line. Cal Poly 14 Cats 20.
While there were flashes, I actually thought the running game would have been much better. And did you mean he told Lulay to stay in the pocket against Adams State? I thought that may have been the case. Lastly, what else did Kramer have to say? Is Smith going to be healthy and if so, will he be returning kicks?
Yeah, you could tell they were having Lulay try and stay in the pocket that game. It might help the line by making him stay in the pocket, but it also makes us easier to defend against as the DE/LB's dont' have to stay home and know they can just pin their ears back. Lulay rolling out/running makes the field a lot BIGGER on the old LB's believe me. I know it still early, but I hope they let him 'rome' around a little more this game.

He's not very accurate on the run though. The ball fades (spins sideways) because he doesn't throw it over the top. He has to stop and set his feet, or run!

Yeah, RUN RUN RUN! I know this could get him hurt, but he has the ability to get to the ground fast it seems like (Ala Flutie) so he doesn't take the big hit.
