MSU has another sub 4-minute miler!

Lost in all our other discussions would be the Soratos sub 4-minute mile. He's got the best time in the country right now. (No, there's no word as to when he's going to transfer yet as he just got here!)

Very impressive time early in the season. And the squad looks in good shape.

This is Cristian's third year at MSU, and his final year of eligibility. He is as loyal as he is passionate. What a great guy to be around.

Impressive time also. Especially indoor.

As a person who used to run the 1600 occasionally way back when in high school ... all I can say is that I am very impressed with that time. :D

As a 400m runner way back in high school; all I can say is that a sub-4 minute miler is smokin' fast!

Come on! Admit it! You ran the 440... :D. And as I recall, the fieldhouse is 16 laps to the mile? It's obviously been a few years for me too. That fast on that many curves I hope he doesn't get runners knee because wouldn't it be neat to see another MSU Olympian?

I am guessing that I am a bit older than catgrad and tirwin and I will admit I ran the 440, 880, mile and 2 mile. MANY years ago. :D .....For some of us there needs to be a "modicum" with wrinkles.

Nope, I was beyond the days of the 440, and by the time I started track in middle school, it was the 400m. Graduated high school in 2002.

The 440 was a tougher race because it is a higher number. #-o :D

Naturally.

That's why the 100m sprinters were all wimps

I guess that's better than admitting he would have come close in the 880! :D
