Basketball rumor
From a reliable source within the Athletic Department: Missouri's basketball coach Quin Snyder is having some serious problems with the administration there regarding their recent problems with the basketball program, and may be let go as early as next week. MSU AD Peter Fields is friends with Snyder from his days at Missouri and is actively trying to get a deal in place with Snyder to replace Durham if Snyder is let go. Apparently, the only hangup is whether Snyder would be offered a job at a bigger name school than MSU.

This better not be a Joke, I know what today is....
I hope this isn't a cruel April Fools Joke!!!! I think Mick has done a great job, but we need new life in MSU hoops. Quinn Snyder? That would be awesome if it actually happened.
If we get Snyder that would be one way to get out of our permanent mediocrity.

Lets look at this logically! Quinn Snyder is no Pat Kennedy! It's not like he's in the twihlight of his career. He has the credentials to get some big money from big programs. Why in the name of Jerry Faust would he be interested in a job at a lower Division I school that couldn't pay him the cab fare he got a Missouri?

If you think I am going to get excited about replacing Durham with a guy from Durham you got another thing coming. There is no way in hell I want The Montana State to be known as "The Duke of the West".
Real alumni don't let their University to go Duke. It is North Carolina or it is nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! You are a UNC fan? That is awesome, UNC and MSU, no better duo anywhere. Tonight I got a early graduation gift from my sister so that I can wear it tomorrow. On the front it says "PUKE Basketball" in the exact text of a Duke shirt and on the back it says "Down with the Cameron Babies" It is AWESOME!!!

Interestingly, while I was on rotation last month here in Seattle, Snyder's father came into my clinic. He said, if anything, his son's dream job would most certainly be at Duke. Imagine that......
