Summary of Cat-Griz '05

Post by bleedbluegold » Sat Nov 19, 2005 6:47 pm

Went to Cat-Griz, had a pretty freakin' sweet time. Basics from what I saw:
-Bergquist looked like he should be in a high school football game today instead of Cat/Griz, he was awful.
-Even worse, Hauck kept giving him the ball instead of Hilliard. Thanks!
-Worse yet, Hauck kept him in. Thanks again!
-Cat defense was great - Seniors Mollohan and Marudas were fantastic.
-Damn! We can run the ball! Outta nowhere Groves had a decent game.
-Missed opportunities - the Cats should've blown UM out of the water, the game wasn't near as close as the score told. Settling for field goals sucks, we should've taken advantage of Hunter's INT. Nice goal line stand for the Griz D.
-It's not so good when you can count your first downs on one hand. Way to move the ball UM.
-Playing surface was terrible, players were slipping everywhere on both sides of the ball. Half the Grizzlies were brown instead of white by the end of the game.
-Lulay is 3-1 vs. the Griz, time to quit the smack Griz fans. At least you won't have to play him anymore -- too bad for us.

Hopefully UM doesn't look this bad next week :P Actually, I wouldn't mind, I like watching them play like they did today. Nice job to both teams in another sweet Cat/Griz game, but after growing up watching my team lose annually this feels pretty damn good. CATS WIN 16-6!!!!!

Agreed.

That's not nice... we both have "Montana" in our names.

Agreed, across the board. But...you forgot about all the Griz whining. How many times today did you see Hauck and the Griz players chewing the refs a$$es for missed calls?

This is true, good job. The thing is - I don't like the Griz. Sorry 'bout it.
