I remember him coming home from some sort of practice/pickup game in the off season, where he played against Krysko when Krysko was a senior, talking about how good this high school kid was and how difficult he was to defend.

Could be, this is just what my cousin told me.
Anybody know a link to past all-state teams?

He grew up in Shelby. I grew up there but didn't have the opportunity to watch him play as I was really young. Maybe there's an older native of the Highline or around there to remember. All I remember is seeing his name left and right for records in my high school gym.
