legally lowering morality ?
entertainment lawyer came up with pre-sex agreement inspired by Kobe. In it the "partner" must sign prior to engaging in sex that they are over 18, have no STD, and wont sue the individual regarding the "encounter". Does this or doesn't this encourage casual sex as a standard ? Was watching the Fox news channel and was amazed that "hundreds" of people have recently signed these agreements. where are the morals in our society. Can you imagine this becoming a standard? how romantic

For a celebrity, it doesn't sound like a bad idea, actually. It would have saved all of these guys a lot of angst:

Casual sex happens one way or another -- adding some legal protections to the process is actually a prudent step.

yes of course casual sex happens, it's endorsed by society as "normal" behavior. I doubt you'd want to sign one Brad. actually, the stipulation about being STD free was good, think all "partners" should be protected from those. terribly unromantic. would not "put me in the mood" to have a man whip this out prior to going to bed with him. However, since it's "casual" sex that is being endorsed here, you know what you are walking into if that's what you are chasing. no emotions just lust. what about a clause that describes what acts will/will not be preformed by the two involved? I heard some pre nups now already include this plus frequency of sex between partners. All military personnel void this by their job requirements. However, say you get an athlete an HE'S the one "too tired" or prudy what kind of recourse should be dished out? financial? or something else?

If I was a pro athlete or high profile actor, and I feared that people were offering themselves up to me for sex with an ulterior motive (later claiming rape, paternity, etc.), I think I would definitely consider having them sign something that precludes me from any legal liability.
I don't know if someone pledging on a legal document that they were STD free would do much good, but it can't hurt ... just as well through that clause in for good measure.
Dealing with the groupies can be a rough business ... and the strength of any business is good contracts.

yep those gold diggers are everywhere
to think that there are actually women that don't want money from a man may be far fetched in today's scoiety, i'm glad to be a NON- gold digger myself.
however, for the sake of arguement if i were out to "get some", there are ways around the contract. Paternity "settlements" are for the kids - although it's the best way a woman can garnish a mans income. Most just give in and marry the girl, than cheat on her. it's seems easier.
also, men can be stupid about the whole thing too. sometimes being practical and logical about sex is better than the alternatives these days.
