I've been meaning to ask this for a couple weeks now...at the Cal Poly game there was a player wearing #7 warming up at QB with Lulay, Carpenter, and Coppack. I was sitting too far away to read the name on the jersey and there is no #7 listed on any MSU roster I can find. Anyone know who this is?

It seems to me I heard something about a transfer who was buried on the depth chart at some D-1 school who figured he could at least move up to number two here. Maybe I dreamed it (the story) but I saw him too!

Didn't the kid from Bozeman High, who signed with WYO two years ago, leave the Cowboys? I have no idea if it is him or not, but he's the first QB I thought of.

The Bozeman High kid (Weidenaar, I think?) did leave Wyoming, but I am pretty sure it was to pursue a career in baseball at another school, I think in Colorado somewhere.
If anyone has anything to verify any of that, we'll see how good my long-term memory is!

I think you're right, I also remember a story about him going to another school to play baseball.

You got it Bozoncat. Zach Weidennarr (Yes that is how u spell it) Did leave wyoming so he could play baseball. I talked to him the other day and he's thinking of playing both baseball and football at some college down in Colorado.

I was wondering the same thing who the number 7 is during the Cal Poly game. I was close enough to the field and the name on his back was Kramer

. Not a clue as to where he came from or if that is actually his last name.
GO CATS!!
