MCC ranked 18th in DI JUCO poll

Post by whizonthegriz » Fri Dec 16, 2005 2:49 pm

I watched MCC play--they are real nice basketball team with several DI players. They are very fast and athletic.--Trevor Morris, freshman out of Missoula, is lighting it up. It is the first time in school history that they have been ranked.

Barstad is playing--He is doing okay. They play a pretty fun brand of basketball--lot of athletes and playmakers.

You're correct, Pony. Living in Seattle, I don't care much about Miles City Community College. Sorry if that makes me a bad person. :)

Miles Community College is ranked 14th in the new poll, but they just lost last night to northwest Community College in Powell, WY. I still say they have some kids could play well for the Cats.

Neary would be glad to send his players to bozeman. He is a fan of Durham.

I think it is possible that we are looking for a few JC's. I know we are looking to recruit another JC PF-C, with Holmes leaving I would imagine we could be in the market for a perimeter JC to add some depth for next year. I hear we have 3 scholies still to give for next year and at least 2 will go to JC's maybe the third also.
