one of those days

Post by briannell » Wed Feb 08, 2006 5:01 pm

okay - today i need a man ! No get your minds out of the gutters LOL with a deployed hubby life is hell

reason one - no hot water, needed to grab neighbors hubby to "fix" it

reason two - damn flashy light in his Ford keeps going off for no apparent reason - i know recall here we go :D

reason three - he knows how to fix the cable outside that my Boston decided to chew up today - so comcast made $150 for 10 minutes of service

and number four - it'd be nice to "discuss" something other than spongeBob over dinner :D

guess we can't live with them or without them no matter how hard we try LOL

I'd rather with than without! I am feeling crummy today and cannot wait for daddy to get home and take over for a bit.

Sorry you had such a crummy day!

Did you get to watch Spongebob?

Find the fuse and yank it out, then it will stop flashing until it gets fixed

day wasn't crummy, just made you realize that men are in deed handy

neighbor said it's like the Brad Paisley song "you need a man around here" I was like yep, and I wont have one for a very long time

anyone know water heaters? I think i need to replace the whole unit. wonder if i should just bite the bullet and buy a tankless heater - are they worth the price?

I wouldn't recommend it Rebecca. Get to Sears and pick up their standard. Not bad price and usually install is under 100 with the old tank disposed. At least in Montana dollars.

Sorry about you having to carry it all by yourself. Not fun that's for sure. I'm looking at living on my own for about 4-5 months in Europe before my wife comes over. Will not cherish that either.

We're building a new house and we wanted to install a tankless hot water maker. Paul Harvey, Renai, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, our plumber (my husband is a builder) said that the tankless hot water systems haven't been out long enough to get all of the bugs worked out. It takes alot of service and fine tuning to get them to work properly. He told us to go with a bigger, higher priced standard hot water heater and we would save money from the get go and in the long run.
