no one is forcing anyone to be here. if you don't like it, then leave. honestly i've seen what goes on at egriz and that's why being a cat fan i leave well enough alone. it's called respect. it's also called common sense.

get real: if you want to be a poor sport and do what you do, then expect to be treated fairly --- you are going to always be disappointed. i realize i'm saying this on the smack board, but think about it - this isn't smack.

For the record, the way egriz is run and the way this site are run are mutually exclusive subjects. We don't benchmark off of each other, and the same rules don't apply on both. If you want to post on this board, you follow the rules of this board. Likewise with egriz.

i do have respect for the griz players and coaches. love to hate your rival, but still respect them.

i have little respect for poor sportsmanship exhibited by fans (not exclusive to the griz fans). to then cry about being treated poorly after acting like a poor sport is simply juvenile.

perhaps i shouldn't be posting to the smack board since i think most of what is posted in here is called being a poor sport IMHO.

guess that is it for me posting in the smack area - peace out.

Actually, I have noticed quite a bit of smack that gets run between Griz fans and it is really irritating. It starts with an attitude that they think they ARE the A.D. There are a few fans who have to present themselves as some sort of conduit to the program - they think they know all the staff and players and act pretty much like "I am more Griz than you and, therefore my ****** doesn't stink." There is one in particular - I won't name names - that makes me so pissed that I, well, quite honestly I won't do anything. I make fun of people for "talking tough" on the internet so it would be silly of me to do it. But I find that attitude to be irritating to say the least.[/rant]

If I had one guess, I'd have to say it's grizbacker. Even when you post a cordial reply on egriz, you nearly always have to put up with a smartass comment from him.

Actually, I've never had any problems with 'backer. There is another, however, who exemplifies this attitude and always is posting stuff like:

"I speak with the coaching staff regularly"

"I saw Dylan McFarland the other day"

"Rob Phenicie and I blah blah blah"

"Word has it that Jim O'Day ****** my sister"

It is my experience that people who feel compelled to post this type of info on the internet don't know and are not half the "insider" they like to think they are. And then when you post anything contrary to it, they treat you like you are a second class citizen. And this is MY OWN FAN BASE. Jackoffs like that make me momentarily ashamed to be a part of the same group because they treat it like an exclusive club. And that attitude sucks donkey dick.

No, it isn't Ronbo - and like I said I don't want to name names b/c that would be pretty weak to call someone out on a site where they don't post. And I won't call them out over on eGriz out of respect to Chris and also out of my belief that we are all fans (and presumably, alums) of the same school so we shouldn't be doing that isht. It is just a general attitude that I find off-putting. That's great that you and Pete Kaligis went to Subway last week. Now STFU.

Well 02 I had a talk with some of the insiders on EGriz. (just the good ones) and we heard that you're just a band wagon fan anyway so we don't care about your smart ass opinions about the Flagship.

Edit: Oh buy the way nice call on the Vikings getting the RB from Seattle.
Maybe you should stick to smack because it may be the only thing you're good at. Maybe if you watched a game or two you'd know a little more about sporting events.

HB don't you have an ownership of Bedpans 212 to attend about now?

02, I have noticed people just disappear from the message boards. You have to have some real staying power to pull a BearBac.

What do you think you're some bigwig on these message boards? Are you and your little "insiders" going to find a way to ban '02 because you think he's a bandwagon fan? If that's the case, then you're looking at a lot of bannings from egriz.

Welcome back, idiot!
