BTW Peyton Ferris doing a fairly nice job as an analyst on the MSU radio broadcast. Just can’t listen to it because it leads the TV by 30sec or more.
Dang-I missed that. Who did the play-by-play?

Same guy...Mark Martello I think is his name...but Peyton chimed in with the analytics. Very informative explaining what Cats were trying to do and how EW was responding....who missed assignments and why on D. Post game wrap up was excellent.

I wanted to listen to Mark snd Peyton for the game but just couldn’t with them so off sync. I wonder if there is a way to sync them up.

My gosh, the Eastern Washington play by play guy is bad. I am going to fall asleep.
Oh, huh, what? Is the game over already? I think I’ve been asleep for like 4 hours. 😴.

Agreed. It would seem their administration has not much respect for a team to do that to them. Thank you Bobcats, for taking care of your teams better. Fun to have Peyton Ferris added to the broadcast.

I don’t know how to easily sync them like in the past as PlutoTV is like 5 minutes ahead of the radio, and there is no way to pause it. The longer the game goes on, the further the radio gets behind. Something about commercials I suspect.

Boooooo! Binford sits Darian White who needs three steals or four assists for a triple-double.
Double boooooo...
But Ashley VanSickle comes in to score double digits and get 4 assists and 3 steals. Hits 2 of 3 from the arc. So now she is 11 of 17 (still over 64%) from the arc in last 8 games.

Sprinkle's losses to ewu : 58-71, 49-74, 77-93. That's the definition of being owned. Boys, we are swooning'
Just as surely as January is followed by February on the calendar, a hot start by the MSU men in BSC play turns out to be fool's gold, and is followed by our annual free fall during the 2nd half of the conference schedule. It doesn't matter who the coach is, it's as unavoidable as death and taxes. If I sound cynical about MSU men's hoops, it's probably because I am, based upon decades of history.

On the other hand, it's hard not to be very impressed by the MSU women's team. Even though they didn't shoot particularly well last night, they still won by 31. A 7 game winning streak, with an average margin of 27 points!! I'm really looking forward to seeing how they stack up against Idaho and ISU.

I am very much looking forward to watching the women play Idaho and ISU the next two weekends to see how they stack up against the other top teams. I watched most of the second half of the Idaho/ISU game last night after our game turned into a blowout, and both of those teams are highly talented, well coached, and (unlike MSU) have a ton of experience.

They really showed their ability and then their youth last night. Played 2/4 good offensive quarters and 3/4 good defensive. I think they’ll be refocused by the UI and ISU games. Coach Bin has shown a great ability to get them back on the rails and they respond to her. And to their team leadership. I’ll bet they come out for practice more determined than ever.

For those fans interested, the replay of the Idaho State vs Idaho WBB game is already posted. Go to BigSkyConference.com - select Media- select Watch Big Sky....then just search by date, you will see Idaho vs Idaho State WBB for Feb 11th.

Although I consider our season already a success and recognize this group of freshman surpassed my expectation....it is ever so apparent our final league standing will depend on how we compete against two mature well coached teams the next few weeks. Idaho State is tough leading the league in scoring defense. Idaho probably wants a little revenge.

So I am going to make a “beverage” (or two) on a frigid winter night and watch the teams we need to beat to earn that first place finish.

This feels like I did when Brian Fish was coaching.
You guys need to take a chill pill. We just lost to the 1st and 3rd place teams in the conference. I hope you were drunk when you made the comment. Heck, we were competitive in 2 of the 3 losses.

Hoping the D will step up today....and keep Eastern in the 70's. We have a shot at 'em if the Cats do that. The last three games MSU has given up 271 points....90+ per game. Not good.

EWU looks more comfortable in our arena they we do.
If EWU has a wide open 3 it goes in almost every time.
Belo is terrible at finishing through contact.
If Patterson and Gazelas can't hit wide open threes why are they out there? Put Mohamed at the three and play Hood more.

I haven't watched more than a couple games this year but wow do these guys look sloppy. I assume starting out 6-0 in Conference we haven't looked like this in general. The offense has no rhythm, most guys are dribbling in circles with their heads down and the D looks stuck in the mud.

EWU is very good and at least 8-9 deep. Tanner Groves is a monster and Aiken is not far behind, we have no answer for them.
