Reminder-today's men's game starts at 11AM.
No matter the outcome we're playing Idaho State in the 2nd round of the Big Sky tournament. This game will decide if we wear our whites (4th place) or our darks (5th place). I haven't looked up what ramifications this game has for Sac State.
Play better...get a win!

I don't think Sac State has any ramifications, they should be locked into the #9 seed regardless of the outcome of today's game.

Offensively it's Belo or nothing. We have no other options apparently.

The reason we lose this game will be the same reason we won yesterday-free throws (if we lose).

We trail by one at the half. Tons of missed opportunities and missed free throws. Bishop has been an offensive liability. Good defensive stretch by Tynes and Hood finally makes a three to get us our last basket. Belo has been a beast.

If there were a stat for shots blocked, I think Bishop would lead the country. He gets stuffed more than my nose during allergy season.

Why the frick is Belo guarding Ezposito with three fouls? Terrible coaching there. Now Belo has 4 and we're probably screwed.

Sac State is shooting double bonus and the Cats aren't even in bonus yet. Some miserable missed calls today.

We lose by 1. Expect a quick exit from the Big Sky tournament as per usual.

Yup...

Some classic big sky refs in that one, just awful. What a joke.

Absolutely Terrible coaching in the 2nd half, unable to make defensive adjustments.

Belo is a stud.

Tynes might be my favorite player on the team. Excited for his future.

Frustrating loss. Pretty much sums up the season for this team though. Talented enough to beat any team out there, but just can’t figure out how to put it all together.

I didn't pay too much attention to what the men's team looked like under Durham, but I've been monitoring since Huse and it seems like we're almost giving away games at the line. I think 75% as a team should be attainable.

It seems to me like free throws should be one of the lowest hanging fruits in the game.

We went 12-19 for an abysmal 63%.

My biggest disappointment is our lack of an offense. One on one ball will not go far in the tourney.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Someone want to elaborate on the foul at the end? I missed the game. Sprinkle seemed pretty mad about it.

They called a foul on Nick Gazeles with 1.7 seconds left on a rebound. The camera angle during the broadcast was behind the basket down low so you couldn’t see the alleged foul so I was pretty upset, like how can you call a foul on with under 2 seconds on a frantic scrum rebound at the end of the game. But I found this angle and a Sac player actually has a great read on a put back and Nick definitely whacks him on the head. Still not sure it’s worth a foul with 1.7 seconds left but I think it probably causes the guy to miss or at least alter his put back shot, so it’s probably a foul.

The bobcats last possession also sums up this season. There is no “go-to” leader out there...

The cats had possession up by 1, with like 30 seconds left had a chance to go up by 3 or 4.... didn’t run any play and ended up settling for some kind of running hook shot by Borja Fernandez (I’m pretty sure that’s who it was).... which didn’t go.... sac goes down and wins.

This team just does not have a Harold Frey type of senior leader that should be demanding the ball in that type of crucial moment. Frustrating to watch.

Hopefully next year Belo develops into that player. The guy is just dominant when he puts his mind to it. I hope he can become more vocal, and be that team leader they are lacking.
