I understand we use the first 4 rounds for keepers, but if we don't select one, obviously we get to make a selection. But why do the first 4 rounds not snake like the rest of the draft? Kind of ruined what I was going to do after my 1 keeper this year. :/

I'd imagine it's so the best teams from the prior season can't exploit the snake draft order by doing something like keeping 3 players only, knowing they'll have the first pick of the non-keepers in Round 4. It's a bit odd though when it's a less active league like this one, and quite a few teams don't select any keepers at all.

the first four don't snake because those picks are already set ie keepers. I put up a poll for people to vote on their feelings. I wasn't very proactive as commissioner last year but will try harder this year

I don't think I've ever not kept 4 guys so I was caught off guard. Bummer but oh well.

Is there any way to modify the IL for this year? With all the Covid ******, it would be nice to have an extra couple IL slots. And in addition, be able to place players designated as "out" on the IL.

Its not a bad idea. I put up a poll to see where people are at. I did add the provision that I wouldn't change it unless a majority of people voted. I couldn't find any way to allow people designated O to be placed on IL

I wonder if there's another setting to allow that. One of my Covid guys is just "out" so there's no IL option, which is frustrating.

Just looked at your roster. And for having 4 guys on IL, 1 out with Covid, and 1 in the minor leagues, you’re doing pretty solid. Haha

I lied, looks like I *can* put a player with an out designation on IL. It wasn't letting me earlier for some reason but it is now.

But 1 or 2 more IL spots would be nice.

Update on the motion: The poll is up to 6-0. I'll add the IL spots. The bad part is it turns out I can't adjust rosters as easily as I can IL spots. When there is a day with hardly if no day ball, I have to reset the draft and autoload players onto their teams.

Why do you need to adjust rosters? Aren't we just adding a couple IL slots?

Without adjusting the rosters, all it does is shift bench spots to IL spots. The total number of players is the same
