Only place in the world they take down the Goal posts for a 7-5 season. Let me check OU, nope, Texas, nope, ND, Nope, Michigan Nope, Montana, Nope.

Obviously, you don't pay any attention to college football whatsoever. Plenty of fans tear down goalposts after a victory over their most heated rival. Oregon/Oregon State, Michigan Ohio State, etc, etc.
Hell, Iowa fans rushed on the field and tore down Minnesotas goalposts. At least we pulled down our own.
FYI we were 7-4. If you want a reason, we clinched a share of the Big Sky championship.

Plus, without another game until September, it was helpful to the maintenance staff to take it down...

When was the last time fans in Missoula got excited enough to tear down the goal posts?

Oh, you just opened a whole can of worms we don't want to hear about. It, ahem, was probably when they last won the national championship... shhhhh!!!

Don't look now Griz fans, but '01 is farther away than last year

Typical Cat fan response. Equating beating your rival to winning the national championship. In all honesty, why do you then grimace when Griz fans claim you only play for one game a year? Don't look now Cat fans, but come November the Griz will have 2 of the last 3.

Read on another post that Kramer says playing at home gives the Cats
an automatic 14 point advantage. Seems to me he admitted the Cats would have lost on a neutral field.

Or two out of five, how ever you can spin it to make it feel good

If you look really close you can see my brother hanging onto the goal post with that other guy. My brother is in the navy blue and white striped sweater. The goal posts were covered with motor oil so they could not hang on very well. He brought a little wrench to make the job go faster. Makes a sister proud *tear*

Agreed. To me the important one is the last one, and the Cats have it for 8 more months.

Most of the rest of the I-AA (note: non-beneficiaries of Denny Washington) would have a laugh at that comment.

Man, those are some WIMPY looking goal posts! No wonder they wobble when the wind blows!

I have a question. Are the cats ever going to start spring ball? I say if the field is good enough to play a football game on in November then the field is good enough to start the spring practice clock. 30 days starting last Thursday...Go.
