I saw an article on this over the weekend. The guy wasn't telling anyone he was a member of a Nazi-like group, but the Human Rights Network people in MT ratted him out, and then he came clean. Apparently these creepy people are hoping to sneak into elected office somewhere (first in Bozeman, and now in Butte), but they keep getting exposed.
The article I read on this guy doesn't exactly do much for the Republican Party. They quoted the guy at length about how he thought the Republican Party was the party that mirrored his own beliefs ... that's hard negative PR to wipe away. It's unfortunate when the minority extremists define the party (due to shock value and ability to get attention) instead of the "boring" but rational mainstream moderates.

i dont know...in butte you have to be hard leftist in order to get elected to anything so just by being a member of the gop does not do him any good. he is from bozo anyways, possibly why he thinks he can get elected.Bay Area Cat wrote:I saw an article on this over the weekend. I know that a Nazi ran for the Bozeman school board awhile back, but lost the spot to a God fearing man with a good standing in the community. Sad that these cowards still exist.

Sadder thing is, the White Supremacist types generally consider themselves to be "God fearing" men. In fact, that's usually how they present themselves as they hide the fact that their organization has a much darker side to it.briannell wrote:I know that a Nazi ran for the Bozeman school board awhile back, but lost the spot to a God fearing man with a good standing in the community.
