Might be the best defensive game I’ve seen MSU play in 10 years!

Home games! We should do more of those...Great to see Raequan Battle have a good shooting night, MSU will be that much more dangerous if he can come off the bench and show why he was recruited to the Pac 12. Interesting line tonight for Abdul Mohamed who has probably been MSU's most reliable scoring threat lately - 1 point, 13 rebounds, 5 assists.

If they continue to play defense like that, we will be tough to beat.

Great game with nice balanced scoring and contributions from at least 9 players.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Any means necessary! The Brick looked very populated tonight which was awesome to see. That energy I’m sure would have been an edge in our two overtime losses that could have swung to wins no doubt…

That was a very satisfying win. We lead pretty much the whole way and we never, not once, blew the lead! I was expecting it to happen, but all at once I look at the score board and we're up 20 and there's just a few minutes to go. I was in shock. NDSU had a tough night-couldn't get anything to go down. They are big, but the quickness of Adamu, Battle, and Mohamed, were a problem for them. Mohamed was a vacuum cleaner on the defensive boards. They had more bigs, but Belo was the best big on the court. In the second half, our jumpers were falling enough that we didn't have to force it inside. Battle was spectacular. He gets in Sprinkle's doghouse with defensive lapses and turnovers, but he is getting better and better and when he gets his jump shot going he'll be really hard to guard because he can jump over anybody.

Dang that was a great showing! Bear defend I’ve seen in MSU in some time, we had NDSU flustered all night - they just looked like a bunch of tall slow dudes. This team is coming together and Sprinkle is figuring out the rotations.

Belo is a force! On both ends of the court. I don’t care how tall their seven-footers are, he out maneuvers, out jumps, out quicks all of them. Fun to watch.

He was just gassed. Legs had no push. Don’t often see an air ball on a dunk attempt. Most improved player!

Nice to see a great effort from opening tip until the end. Really balanced on offense...and I think we're starting to see what Battle is capable of! Looking forward to more "Battle in the Brick"!! Hats off to Coach Sprinkle and the fellas....nice win.

Oh, I agree definitely. Abdul has been maybe our best player all year, certainly our most consistent player. He was laughing and other guys on the bench were laughing with him. I am just sure he will hear more about it.

I was there and I have to say that this is the most complete game I have seen a men's MSU team perform in years. The reason I say that is because anyone could see that NDSU is a very good team with excellent talent. I think they had an off night shooting but maybe out D had something to do with that. This MSU team should be very competitive in the Big Sky this year if they keep playing like this, and Danny demands that they give it their all.

This thread has it all. Over confident Bison fan- as we would all expect. The “no way we win” mentality from the cat fans vs the no way we lose from lake bison. Oh we will blow the lead, don’t worry. Great defense and Bobcat basketball hasn’t been the combo we have come to know.

I had to chuckle reading the game thread on the NDSU forum, it went from how betting on NDSU at +6 was easy money to everyone wanting to fire the coach very quickly.

Battle is a stud. By far the most athletic guy on the floor. He has several blocks that not one other person the court could have done. I would love to see him drive to the hoop more as I don't know who would stop him with that vertical and quickness. Keep up the hard work and unselfishness. Great job Danny
