People We Don't Like

Post by Grizlaw » Mon Apr 10, 2006 8:42 am

I was listening to the radio this morning, and they did a segment where people were supposed to call in and tell the listenership about stereotypical people that they don't like. I thought this might make a fun thread, so by way of example, I'll start:

I don't like any of the following people:

1. the "close talker" guy;
2. the "too much perfume" girl; or
3. the "wearing his/her sweater draped over his/her shoulders" guy/girl.

Anyone else?

I work as an attorney so that I can afford good scotch, which helps me to forget that I work as an attorney.

how about the (i'll cap it at 5)

1. I cheer for the griz guy/gal
2. I smell like stale boos guy/gal
3. I blow smoke in your face when we're talking guy/gal
4. I drive like a bat out of hell and cut you off, just to slam my breaks on guy/gal
5. I scream in public and tell my kids to "shut up!" guy/gal.

1. "Yellow Jersey Bike Riding Guy" - ever since Lance Armstrong started winning the Tour de France the roads here in Portland have been clogged by middle aged guys in Yellow racing down busy roads, running their own personal race. Frustrating

2. "Loud Talk On Cellphone Guy/Gal" - My own life is just barely interesting 80% of the time; do you think I want to listen to someone I don't know gab about what they did Sunday afternoon?

3. "Bad Breath Guy/Gal" - always a tough one because if it is someone you are doing business with, you can't really angle your face to get some relief from the stench.

4. "I Knew That Band First Guy/Gal" - yeah, we all were there when Pearl Jam played the fairgrounds in Bozeman, but when the same person tells me about their dozens of other inside the band moments, a tiny bit of me dies.

This is kind of fun.

1) The mom in the stands who yells at the refs/umpires when she doesn't know jack ****** about rules, just cares if her son/daughter scores 20 pts or goes 6 for 7 in a double header.

2) The lazy SOB who can't put a shopping cart in the "PLEASE RETURN SHOPPING CARTS HERE" rack. Instead, they'll leave it 2 parking spots from there.

3) The guy/gal who "chain-smokes" in a restaurant while I'm trying to eat. :?

4) Bad breath.

I shouldn't get started on this as I could make a very long list, but I have one that stood out from this weekend.

Too lazy to move your lips when talking guy/gal. The words just get mumbled together and then they get pissed if you can't understand them. :x

Haters

Never mistake activity for accomplishment.

I'm sick of the man because the man is a thief.

okay i'll get slammed for this one, that I already know. however, since it just happened, here it goes.

when you goto the gym and you see an individual who is larger than healthy weight for their body type eating McDonald's afterwards in the parking lot and complaining to the gym nutritionists about not being able to lose weight.

salm away

1.) People who move here from Vermont & New Hampshire, try to get the logging & mining industries shut down, get their degree & move back East.

2.) People who try to shove their religion down your throat.

3.) People who try to act like they are gansta when they are from the suburbs.

4.) High School kids who think they are the sh*t.

5.) Anybody who doesn't root for the Griz. :D

1. The "I know everything" guy, especially when you don't
2. The guy who lights up a ciggarette right after leaving the gym (I am posting this from anti-smoking hell: Mississippi)
3. My mom, when she repeats things she's already told me 4 TIMES
4. Griz fans... get over yourselves

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch. Nigel Powers

And a couple more:

The shopping cart thing.
Rednecks (not the Jeff Foxworthy kind-the hatin' kind) Especially those who harass cyclists.
People who risk life and limb to pass on Jackrabbit Lane-only to roll up to the stop light at Four Corners one car length ahead of you.

The "Shoot the ball Casey!" woman who sits at the top of the student section at basketball games. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me... :cringes:

Plus, she yells it about a dozen times every game... ANNOYING! (not a slam on Casey BTW, just HER!) :x

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

The people who insist on turning left from the center lane on Main onto 7th when the green arrow is already gone. I guess they just need to be in that right lane so they can hang a right on Mendenhaul and cruise the wrong way up the one-way.
