Man what a crazy final minute. Battle hits 2 ridiculous 3s, makes a 4 point play out of 1 then gets his ankles so broken on the game winning jumper he's lucky to be walking out of the gym

Agree with @WYCAT about Battle. Offensively he's too good not to be in the game late. Not sure how good he is defensively but nobody was good on D, especially late.

BSC refs suck but if they were actively working against the Cats I don't think the 11 game win streak would've happened. MSU should've finished it off in regulation but couldn't make one more basket, end of story.

Refs were terrible. Leaving X on an island to get abused on defense. X chucking up a couple deep threes at the end of regulation. Abdul prematurely jumping out to the shooter leaving a wide open dunk. So many things……

I for one am disappointed in any loss, but having won 11 straight and playing a team that recently beat Weber, I am not angry with this loss. Easy to blame refs but our guys let many opportunities in the first half slip through our fingers. The team has a tough remaining schedule, hopefully this lights that fire underneath them to finish strong. Most good/great teams lose games here and there. I liked the passion the players showed the entire game!

Both our teams are remarkably consistent in blowing leads. It really bit them in the arse tonight. Women couldn't make shots in their own gym, but Eastern sure could.
Why did Sprinkle start the OT with an ice cold Patterson in the lineup and the hottest guy in the league in Battle on the bench? Not good management there.
I guess it's better to do this in the regular season...as long as it is out of our system in the tournament.

It sure is nice to have some fun basketball games to talk about these days, hopefully the years of 8-8 in conference being considered a good year for us are gone. I hope that this year is a building block to sellout crowds and as much passion for the bb programs as we have for the fb program.

We lost both. Blew leads. Similar to other games but we didn't pull it out. Can't say any more, not allowed to question strategies or performance since not a coach.

The league has gone crazy. Both men and women. ISU loses to UNCU. Weber wins at formerly red hot Sac State-all good results for us. For the men, Idaho beats the gris, PSU beats NAU, ISU wins over UNCU. Weber men winning at home over Sac was the only game that made any sense.

Yeah I was confused. X was getting picked on the entire game yet he was in the entire game minus a couple of hand picked possessions. Are we that desperate for X to run the offense that we can’t sub him out at all? That’s not a stab at X either, just confused why we couldn’t try something else. It’s not like our offense was humming tonight either.

That was the worst officiated game I’ve ever seen. I was at the game. Refs missed call after call. I have friends on the eastern side and they came up to me laughing about how bad it was. Big sky needs to rewatch that game and make sure they don’t get another call for a game this season.

This loss reminds me of the Colorado loss. Both were in hand and we blew them both. This one shouldn't of happened.

Apparently there's a rule that with .3 seconds left (or less), the player cannot catch the ball, then shoot. Has to be a tip-in. You watch the replay and the ball was out of Adamu's hand before the clock expired....bummer of a way to lose.
