I've been to an awful lot of basketball games in that old barn. That was one of the best. The most meaningful meaningless game I ever saw.
No Belo. Bishop gets hurt. Guys just stepping up all over the place. Great Osobor, who should be in the conversation for freshman of the year, showed how good he can be playing starter minutes. And where did all that athleticism come from with Nick Gazelas??? Who knew? Certainly the Bears didn't-that wasn't on the scouting report. I don't know what else to say-that was just an amazing game in front of the best crowd in years. Thank you RayQuan Battle for being a Bobcat!

Love all the different views of the buzzer beater from different camera angles. Parker Cotton's is one of the best with Danny fist pumping at the end. I tell you what these bobcat fans are well trained from the SDSU semi final game to this game, they are electric and enjoying some of the best years in Bobcat sports! What a time to be alive!

Had a little get together at the BAC after the game for 6th Man! What a great bunch of kids!!

Great game they battled really well. Lot of positives for young guys. I understand the shorter bench in the must have games, but i really like the ball movement and flow when they have gotten chances. Osobar has a nice spin move and up and under. Game of runs, and what a change of emotions at the end. Up 2 and turn it over when we had two timeouts, give up the three to lose lead. Then the heroics to win it.

Talked to X after the game on the court. Asked him about the injury. He said “ I am going to be fine”. Maybe that is something you just say but he was walking around and putting weight on the foot. Maybe the compression boot is just being as precautionary as possible. Who knows but X was not down or upset. Hope for the best.

Here's the link to the last 47 seconds of the game. Announcer Zach Mackie is usually fairly reserved but he just about loses it. Love it. If you weren't there, Mackie mistakenly says the game is tied by UNC with 4 seconds left, when actually it was a 3 and UNC had taken the lead 85-84. It looked pretty grim from where I was sitting, but then this happened:

I can't stop watching the replay...holy smokes that was exciting.....hats off to Coach Sprink....he's not only revived this team, but is building a program that appears to be becoming a yearly contender.

The young guys stepped up and performed magnificently. Great is going to do some serious damage over the next few years, Nick is showing us what he's capable of....and Raequan is going to be on a lot of highlight replays..man I love watching that kid!

For a game that really didn't mean anything, you could just feel how much the team and crowd wanted that win. Going from "in the bag", "crap we gave it away", to "booooooom" was electric!
