I guess I don’t blame the students. On Sac State’s second position, their player drove right up the left edge of the paint and encountered a Belo and I think Muhammad. He was dribbling left-handed, stopped the ball for a beat with both hands, put it down again (double dribble), picked it up, took a step or two (travel) and started dribbling again (triple dribble). It’s possible we dislodged the ball, but I didn’t think so. Anyway, that would still leave two violations right in front of the official. You know it’s going to be a strange evening after that, but it didn’t totally get out of hand. Just close.
I understand fan bias but you go way beyond bias....I went back after reading this post and watched the replay....Sac's second "possession" (I assume that's what you meant) nothing anything close to what you describe happens, or on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. possessions....Be biased, OK....don't blatantly lie....really screws up your credibility and makes you sound too much like a whiney Griz fan....
Yeah but there was a double dribble in the sequence. Ref said it got tipped but I didn’t see it.
Could you tell me at what point in the game this occurred so I can look at the replay again...I saw nothing close to this....After checking the possessions that Bobcat4Ever quoted, I wasn't going to watch the whole game again to find what he said occurred in the second possession...I watched the first 6 Sac possessions of each half and nothing close happened (btw, in the first half during those 6 possessions I saw 2 fouls by Montana St. that weren't called but that happens in every game)....If the refs were so terribly biased against Montana St. then how come you shot so many more free throws than we did? I'm not complaining but don't understand how you all can see things I don't see and I see things you all don't see....
Nobody's saying the refs were terribly biased against MSU, they're discussing an individual play (I don't remember it either) that caused the MSU student section to start a "Bulls***" chant when they thought the refs missed a call. As you say, calls get missed or made incorrectly against both teams at times in any game you watch.

Second possession, or maybe the third, Really early in the game, Didn’t really have any impact.

No lying involved. It’s what I saw. If you see it differently then that’s fine. And it was just a “shaking my head” moment. I didn’t feel in any way the officials were biased — just that the game started strangely and there were any number of weird calls that kept both benches going. It only got worse for the Northern Colorado game, where the rarest thing happened — even Coach Sprinkle had had enough and got a T when player safety was involved. Not sure what you’re so grumpy about, but please chill. Discussing is fine, even loudly. But not name-calling.

I think Tyler needs to play about 30 minutes on Saturday, and keep jacking up 3's until he hits a couple. His body language was really not good last night after he got benched. Lost his mojo, I'm afraid.
Good point, Gazelas has struggled lately too and could use a confidence boost. It'll be interesting to see how much Belo and Xavier play tomorrow or if they play at all. Xavier certainly won't play anywhere near 39 minutes like he did last night.
I think Nick found his mojo against N. Colorado. It’s good to have minutes where you can just play free, and he took advantage in a big way. Lots of good stuff in his play and 19 points, too. I’m pleased for Nick; too often he gets sent to a corner and told to wait for a basketball when he’d probably like to be playing like the other guys. 😁

Fans is short for fanatics. Fanatics are biased towards their team. Refs will always be biased against a fanatic's team.......
