Thank you Xavier, Abdul, and Amin for a historic and unforgettable season!

I love what I saw from MSU's young guys there in the second half.

Agree with all of that. What a great run for this crew of seniors, and great experience for the younger guys.

Don't recall ever seeing any team shoot like TT did today..at any level. Spellbinding!
Very proud of our Bobcats. Safe to say no team in the BSC could have faired better today. Cats could play them 10 times and are unlikely to beat them. TT beat Eastern Washington 78-46.
Sprinkle is a class act and his team reflects it.

TTU is an absolute brutal draw for ANY team in this tournament.

Agreed
Along with the studio crew
Definitely have heard better announcer...
Bad enough when there is one bad color guy who has to talk just to heard his head rattle. Now we have two.

It was quite the shooting performance by TT (67%). Not as good as Nova vs. G'town in '85 (79%), but amazing nonetheless. I think Capital High was 75% vs Bozeman last week in the AA title game. Obviously, MSU isn't as bad as the score indicates.

The main goal for BSC teams is to win the BSC. Anything else would be unexpected. The gap between BSC teams and top NCAA teams has grown steadily over the past 50 years. I like to think that players around the country would like to play at MSU or UM more than some of these other mid-major schools, but until that happens not much will change.

We played a team whose "supposed" Achilles heel was cold shooting, and a team who was ranked 8th in the Big 12 in shooting percentage. Someone forgot to tell Texas Tech, as they shot almost 70% from the field today, and 60% from 3-point land. Doesn't matter who play, whenever your opponent is lighting up the rim with those numbers, you're gonna come out on the losing end...

Great season Cats! Danny is building something special in Bozeman and it's gonna be a fun ride for several years!

These refs are dogsh*t. As if Tech needs more help. They're letting Tech get away with everything and calling little fouls on us... DOGSH*T
The exclamation point for me was early in the game when #25 blocked Patterson’s shot out of bounds then got in his face and started talking smack. Ref was 3 feet away — no call. Not surprised when I heard the was #25’s fourth school.

This makes it sound like he's a trouble maker and has been booted off teams. He's continued to move up to higher competition (Mesa Community College > NW Nazarene (D2) > Winthrop > Texas Tech). Additionally he has a degree from Winthrop and is at TTech as a grad transfer.

This might be the worst possible draw we could've gotten. We match up absolutely horribly with TT.
100%. After that game I told my buddy we would have fared much better against Gonzaga, and I'm dead serious.

Well, if TT continues to shoot like they did against us, they are a terrible matchup for anyone in the country. They are an elite defensive team, but I sure did not expect to see that kind of shooting. I really doubt they keep that up, just unfortunate that they had a game where they could not miss today.

Thank you Coach Sprink, staff and players for a great year! Not how we wanted it to end, but you gave us a lot to cheer about this season. Especially want to thank Abdul Mohamed, Amin Adam and Xavier Bishop. You guys will be missed.

I've made a contribution to the 6th man club this afternoon. It's not a lot, but I want to do what I can to be sure this program has the resources it needs. I encourage Bobcat Nation to give what you can!

Go Cats!!

Field goal %: We averaged 47.55% for the season, good for 28th in the ncaa. TT averaged 46.96%, good for 39th.Today we hit 38.2 and TT 66.7....

3 point %: We were 36th in 3 point shooting, 36.88%. TT was 281st with 31,4%. We hit 33.3 and they hit 60...

CATS averaged 34.7 boards per game good for 187th and TT pulled down 36.5 for 87th... Today we pulled down 24 and they grabbed 33.

Do you think we ran into a buzz saw today?

So how did Belo play? Whats up with his knee? He looked pretty weak on it in the chipper. I couldn't get the game streamed today due to location so what can ya all tell me.

Thanks

Tech was super impressively defensively, and they just got hot from everywhere on offense. I actually thought our defense wasn't too bad, I think the gameplan was to force them into 3 pointers but they just didn't miss anything it was pretty remarkable.

Tech's defensive made it look we forgot the fundamentals of basketball for a minute, they were that good. Bishop could hardly get around anyone, even guys who were as big as Belo.

It was a clinic on both sides, and I do think that game doesn't go that way most of the time but they are easily 20 points better than us on any given day.

Brutal draw, but proud of how we fought and I'm not going to let this game ruin what an awesome season this truly was.

Well said. It was a great run and I’m proud of them.

He played like he’s hurting pretty bad on that knee. His post moves weren’t quite right when he could get them off but Texas Tech swarmed the post on entry passes. His post defense didn’t matter a whole lot because they shot 70% from 3 haha. I have no doubt he has a semi serious knee injury, but he gutted it out. Heart of a bobcat and I’m excited for another year of big sky dominance for him.
