Re: T&F - XC
So Duncan Hamilton finished in 4th place and Levi Taylor finished 7th. Outstanding performances!
As Victor Flores noted, Hamilton's time of 8 20.23 is within the World qualifying standard of 8 22.00. But he mentioned that he didn't advance to the world championships even though he beat the standard. How does that work? Is it just the top 3 places that are below the standard?

I believe each country can only send a maximum of 3 athletes per event, only if those athletes have met the qualifying standard.Rich K wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 3:56 pmSo Duncan Hamilton finished in 4th place and Levi Taylor finished 7th. Outstanding performances!

Pretty damn hot yesterday, almost 90, definitely effected tactics & speed of the race.

Also amazing that only 4 college runners made it to the finals and 2 we're bobcats.rollo_tumasi wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 10:33 amPretty damn hot yesterday, almost 90, definitely effected tactics & speed of the race.
