deja vu

Post by whitetrashgriz » Wed May 10, 2006 9:09 pm

if my memory serves me correctly, it was about a year ago to the week that griz fans began telling us(over here, and obviously not on egriz) that the mighty griz would be in chatty the upcoming football season. well, we all know how that went. and when we called them on it, and reminded the many that made this bold prediction, many countered with the...."I didn't think the griz would go that far"...."I knew this was a rebuilding year"...."I had a feeling the cats would beat us"...."blah blah blah!" here we are again. cant wait to open this thread again in 6 months and see how the trip to chatty went. AGAIN. lol.

do you have to know everything to post here? or just think you do?

I didn't realize you could get a first round bye in the playoffs. That is pretty sweet though, home for turkey day and a playoff berth!

The only times the Griz have gone to championship is when the playoffs have gone their way and they have gotten to host all 3 playoff games in MIssoula in the winter ($$$ talks ... ask New Hampshire coach :) ).. If they don't get that they probably don't have any shot at Chatty this year (even though they should be better).

I predict that before the year is over, at some point I will refer to Lex Hilliard as "Football Jesus".

Lex was sent to spread the Good News of Griz Football and the Gospel of The Flagship.

God's Blessings upon you, 2002! The path of the righteous fan is beset on all sides by the inequities of the weak instate rival and the jealousy of those with subpar facilities. Blessed is me, who in the name of charity and desire and Pebbles and Bubbles and the rest of those girls down at the Moulin Rouge, shepherds the Griz through the Missoula valley during the months of September-November, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengence and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy The Flagship. And you will know my name is the Lex when I lay my vengence upon thee.
