Mel Gibson v. Bush

Post by SonomaCat » Fri May 12, 2006 11:58 am

This one actually really surprised me:

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/12052006/364/g ... -bush.html

I kind of had Mel pegged as a solid pro-Bush guy based on his ties with the religious right. I also saw a reference to Bush's numbers being down to 29% this morning per the WSJ poll. I had figured they had bottomed out in the low thirties. Perhaps the religious right is now beginning to bail out on him as well?

All that will be left after it's all said and done will be the religous right wing wackos. We'll finally be able to figure how many of these goofballs are in the US.

Montana State IS what "they" think Montana is.

Mel Gibson is a goon. I'm not very worried about anything that comes from him.

True, but he is a goon that is beloved by one of Bush's most loyal constituencies. That's why I was so surprised by his comments.
