Scary moment early on, Great came down awkwardly and it looked like he really sprained an ankle, but thankfully he's back in playing well. Other interesting thing to note, Coach Brian Fish is now on the bench helping Oregon.

That was ugly. Offense is lost except for Battle. Belo is just not the same player this year. I miss Tynes too at the point.

well, it was a rough half. But, did we think we would come out and smoothly take over this game? We held them to 34, thats pretty good. They play 3 7 foot players, yet a few times we did run a good set and also played well defensively. Hopefully Danny can get them focused and come upt with a good plan for the 2nd half.

Announcers keep mentioning that Belo will be better once he recovers fully. Could someone explain, Why do we play him, if he is not recovered? And, will he recover in time for conference play? Although we didnt play the best, i like watching games like this because you see little spurts that show how our team can play when they play effortlessly.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is an option to rest him. There is no depth at the 5 position (I'm surprised they didn't pick up another big guy to fill in the depth in the offseason). With this roster, Osobor is the only other guy that can play that true 5 spot with any size. Lecholat can hold his own and Fuller might suffice for a couple minutes, but you need a rim protector out there in the 5 and thats what Great and JB bring. For Belo's sake I hope he is still nursing the knee a little because if he's fully healthy, man he's lost what makes him special...msu_agfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 10:02 pmAnnouncers keep mentioning that Belo will be better once he recovers fully. A terrible night for both the men and women. Put these two quicks in the rear view mirror. Flush them.
