Edwards was a gamer and you can STFU about 1-19. He was actually a part of something called "The Drive". Do you know how many "The Drive"'s there have been? I can think of only two, and this is one of them. The other was Elway. Joe Montana might've had one in there too. In order of greatness:

1. John Edwards "The Drive"
2. (tie)Montana and Elway "The Drive"

And then he was Kerry's running mate in the last Presidential election. If Edwards had been on the top of the ticket, it would've been a different story. Jimmy Farris could've been his running mate. That would've been good enough for a "First Down........AMERICA!"

I'm talkin' Johnny Montana here. And if you are wondering why this doesn't seem to make sense, I wouldn't think to hard about it if I were you.

1-19....

Same guy that won a national championship

How many championships did glorified Redhead win?

While we are at it, how many playoff games did Lugay win?

1-19 Slingblade. Doesn't change the fact that he thoroughly choked and was dominated.

The "glorified" Redhead did things for the MSU football program that ignorant, Johnny-come-lately griz fans like you will never understand or respect.

I find it sad that there are fans like you (regardless of the teams one cheers for) who make the school you support look bad.

Why don't you try and grow up for once?

A little sore because Redhead didnt win a playoff game for ya? I understand that he did "amazing" things for MSU but once again, does it compare to what Dave Dickenson did for the Griz? Johnny won a title and Travis didnt.

You might as well ask that same question to a rock, life. You'd get a much more compelling, accurate, and satisfying answer.

What makes me mad are the Cat fans that call Swilly, "Slingblade"... it is a HUGE dis-service to Karl Childers.

Are you from the same lineage as bearbac? Only an idiot like you would minimize what Lulay has done for the program, namely the shape he has left it in.

Next time you sign yourself, don't forget to include

griz football fan since 1996
griz basketball fan since 2005.

That is all.

I never took it from that perspective. Thanks for setting me straight :)

I guess the only difference between the two is that one has to act and the other doesn't.

that's funny the fan years seem to change all the time according to cat fans.........hey why is it that the attendance numbers at msu were still $hit poor compared to um's prior to the 1990s??

prior to 1996 the griz had more big sky titles than the cats in football, and were in their third PLAYOFFS in a row
prior to 2005 the griz had more big sky titles than the cats in basketball, and more tourney appearences with that

weak sauce. and cat fans know it.

Sure, why not. Probably won't need to go back much more than 10 years.
