MSU has done a piss poor job, advertising the 1993 Bobcat Women's Big Sky Conference Champs being at the lady's Cat/griz game. A lot of the 93 team, are coming back for this.
That’s an event — hadn’t heard about it. It’s that very team that piqued our interest to go watch late in the season, and we’ve been in the stands or yelling at the TV every possible game since then. A friend had been ragging on me about WBB, and I’d not been interested — until we went. Wow, 30 years. Thanks to Coach Bin for 19 good ones.

@BobcatDel you might not get a response from Bethany for awhile. That baby just showed up over this past weekend.

I also like the splits in game time. We have attended women's. Hit downtown for "dinner" and back for Men's game

You just have to know where to park :D

Will they be dropping the football banner at the men Cat-griz halftime and carrying around the Great Divide Trophy? That's usually when that's done.

Both games are being broadcast on tv which means the game times are set by the tv station.

That might be true if it was on national TV, but not a local broadcast.

The women have been playing their home conference Saturday games at 1:00pm. 2:00pm start time on this game is definitely due to TV

I felt good about Cat/Griz this first time around, I thought we would sweep. This time I'm not so sure. I think the Ladies can take care of business but the men are just not playing well as of late, and the Griz are on a 5 game wining streak.

In 2 of our last 4 games, the men have managed to shot under 20% from 3, but won them both. I don't see us beating the Griz shooting 2-17 from downtown, but you never know. We will probably just attack the paint hard with Belo and Osobor, the Griz don't really have anyone who can guard either one of them. They will collapse and double and maybe triple team, which will give open looks. If I was defending the Cats that's what I would do, sell out to stop the bigs and make the Cats win with the jumpers.

In the past, home Saturday afternoon games were at 2 p.m. I believe they were moved to 1 p.m. to make traveling home (by air) easier for the visiting teams. This Saturday’s game is at the traditional start time.

I agree with you but I'm afraid the UM women are also playing very good right now. The thing that puzzled me in our last game is the fact that Carmen Gfeller, who has been a terrible thorn in our sides, did not show up in Missoula. I wondered if she was sick or something. I have a feeling she will show up this time along with the two outstanding freshmen they have. Our ladies will have to bring their A game, especially when it comes to playing in your face defense, boxing out and rebounding.

As for the men, our guys are OVERDUE to start hitting shots. Hopefully they do this on Saturday night.

This is exactly where I'm at. I thought we'd easily sweep in Missoula. I still feel decently confident about the women, but our offensive output on the Men's side has been concerning as of late. If we can put up 70+, I think we win. But that could be a heavy lift the way we've been shooting lately.

This is where I’m at. I have a feeling we’re finally going to see a player go off from 3, probably Patterson.

Yes. Banner will be unfurled at halftime of men’s game. Don’t know about the trophy parade but that was terrific the last time I saw it a year or two ago!

And if you want to be part of the synchronous light show download the app CUE LIVE onto your phone. And if you are too old to want to participate in that tell your kids and spouse about it. Attached was the message sent out today from MSU.

Quote:

Download CUE LIVE today and be a part of an epic light show at both men’s and women’s games! Before the hype video, pull up the app and let’s light the Brick up together! All you must do is tap in, and let the phone do the rest.

Heck maybe they will play “Sweet Caroline” with a CUE LIVE light show!!!! Ha!

Knowing that some don’t exactly bond with that song maybe I better exit now with security protection! But my phone would love it!

That was the one that stuck out to me too. I don't think it's a sure thing, but far better than 9-1 odds.
