Maybe they didn't want to piss of the readers of Bobcat nation again with their "current and former" bit, so they took the safe route this time. We are to be feared!

Here is the paragraph to which I was referring earlier:

The guns were found in a locker labeled “1 Wilson,” the affidavit stated. The 2006 MSU men’s basketball roster lists Jacques Wilson, a freshman guard from Pocatello, Idaho, as wearing the number one. Wilson is not a suspect.

The underlining is mine. To me, the paper pretty much did not implicate JW. In fact, the way I read this, JW is an innocent victim of circumstance.

When the media says that at least one athlete is being interviewed, remember that the accused have roommates and I believe LeBrum may have one or two that are current football players. Interviewing someone doesn't make them a suspect or a participant.

LeBrum's girlfriend, most of Jason's friends, and I myself have been interviewed and I can tell you with utmost certainty that we were not involved. Good point, oldcatfan.

The latest story said that only one current athlete was being interviewed. Trying to guess what's going on and using the newspaper to reinforce it is a roll of the dice, but that's all there is to go on until the County puts out more info.

I do know that Branden is in protetive custody in the jail and they are allowing no visitors.
