Bobcat men finished 5th in the toughest region among NCAA Cross Country's 319 division I teams. Each Region advances the first two places automatically. Thirteen other teams will advance for a 25 team field at the finals. MSU's men have a very good chance of making the field for the second year in a row. They beat #23 ranked Colorado at the Regional in Lubbock. The at large teams will be announced via live video today at 3 PM MST (Saturday) at ncaa.org
Our women were 11th. Some individuals can qualify based on their finish at Regionals but we did not place any women high enough. The Mountain Region was very strong this year on the women's side, with many evenly matched teams. We would have had to perform much better to place tenth. The highlight of the season for our women was second place at the Big Sky Championships.

That's fantastic. Way to go CATS!
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."
