Clark's Fork River - Slate slide show

I haven't had a chance to take a look at this yet, but I thought it might be interesting for people who are familiar with that particular river:

I read were they had to stop or dramatically slow the drawing down of the water because the metals were killing small fish down river.

An excellent book to read along these lines is "Smoke Wars." I believe it was a thesis by a MSU student that they went ahead an published.
