My oh my Griz fans are getting desperate. Cheating on a Mascot popularity contest. Maybe this will help them sleep at night ... who knows. I find this ridiculous.

I saw that too and had the same reaction. I guess since they can't beat us on the field anymore their best bet is Monty.

They can have Monte. I think I hate that stupid bear more than the grizzlies in general. Actually, I think I hate the infatuation most griz fans have with Monte - I have never met a fan of any other team that actually gives a rat's ass about their mascot. Sure, they are nice and a part of the college atmosphere, but seriously...

Dude, Monte is awesome. I don't care what us Cat fans say, that is the best mascot I've ever seen, he gets fans more fired up than pro mascots. I loved watching him, I won't lie.

Oh man, I know what I'm being for halloween next year. Monte dressed up in a Bobcat jersey.

Stop picking on Monte. He is a great mascott. We could learn a lot from the Friz mascott. We need to make our mascott friendly looking. He is there for the little kids and our mascott is scary looking.

I wasn't being sarcastic in my post. I think Monte is a great mascot, the Cats should be so lucky to have a great mascot like that.
