12 days to the first signing day and still no Texas commits, even though there are substantially more offers put out there than any other state. I see Vigen was down in Texas yesterday making a push, so I would expect a couple of Texans to commit soon.

Looking back at that year's class (thanks AF for tracking offers), it looks like Patrick Smith (5-9, 184 Safety) also signed with North Texas and also just entered the portal.

I just got around to watching his high lights. I know he had a knee injury(s) his junior year but, man, give the kid some cash. Good size, damn good speed, such a sweet stride. I hope the Cats can land him.

Yeah, I saw he started following that young man. Kid is talented but I thought there might be some more immediate concerns for the team. I have no clue what they are looking for year after year. I have my own ideas what the Cats need and rarely do my ideas match up with what players they bring in. I don’t get paid for this though.
