The lack of confidence that manifests in the form of Griz hate must keep a lot of counselors busy.
LOL

The Big Sky Conference and the rivalry are better when the Bobcats are relevant. May the Bobcat players be healthy, the Bobcat coaches be successful, and the Bobcat fans be happy in 2024.
Very kind of you.

This post is a perfect example of gris arrogance, and explains why Bobcat fans despise the gris and their fans with such fervor. On the surface it seems sort of conciliatory and friendly, but really it's just condescending. In saying "when the Bobcats are relevant", he implies that it's the gris who have always been relevant, while the Bobcats have been so only intermittently. The truth is, going back to the last year they made it to the NC game in 2009 (14 years ago, almost as long as "the streak" lasted), the Bobcats have been consistently more relevant than the Gris, based upon whatever metric you want to use. Beginning in 2010, we lead the head to head series 7-6, we lead in BSC titles, 4-1, we lead in playoff appearances 9-7, we lead in QF appearances 5-3, we lead in SF appearances 3-1, and we lead in NC game appearances 1-0. And yet in griznationalist's eyes, it's the Bobcats who have been only intermittently relevant. It's just like I said in my earlier post, we could win 10 straight NC, while they went 0-11 for 10 straight years, but most of their fans would still think their program was superior. ESG....go NDSU!!!!

The Cats have been relevant for a while now. Glad to see the griz are relevant again. Good luck tomorrow.

The Griz haven’t won a national championship in 22 long years and have lost three national championship games since that 2001 championship. The Griz also lost the 1996 national championship game after winning the 1995 national championship. Losing gets old. If you thought the 2021 season ended disappointingly for the Bobcats, do that three or four more times and tell me how it feels. I’m with you, brother. I wish the Bobcats success in 2024.

Longtime creeper, first time poster. Missoula born and raised. UM and MSU alum. Griz fan since before WaGriz, the streak, etc. Love that the programs are neck and neck these days. Montana is so much cooler than the Dakotas. Wanted the Cats to beat NDSU with a fever in ‘21. The Griz and Cats both have infinitely better fan bases, long standing tradition, facilities and so on. Do I hate the Cats every third week of November? Absolutely. Still, whatever happened to solidarity in scorn for the homers from the Dakotas? Do you even MT bruh?

I hope every coach and player for MSU is listening to the gris pregame. Build that fire and hatred.

Mecca of football, only two blue bloods of FCS, what world does that dork Riley live in? NDSU is a Mecca, their record speaks for itself, Missoula on the other hand isn’t. God liberals and liberal colleges are the worst. FTG and their pretentious Walmart fans.

Riley Corcoran is dork. Not really sure how any of this crosses into politics?

Coaches need to go into that game as it’s a playoff game. Win or go home mentality. Open up the playbook, don’t play/coach not to lose, be aggressive, etc. The game is bigger than the trophy, it’s gonna be for a 1-2 seed once again and more than likely a conference championship as well. The teams with home field in the semifinals are more likely the teams that go to Frisco and the cats need to beat the griz to get home field throughout the playoffs.

Watching the game and thinking why the hell can’t our OC call the game like they (other team in MT) do. I swear we have better if not just as good athletes at the key offensive positions!

We didn’t really establish any type of deep threat this year. That’s one thing the griz O has done a great job of.

The proverbial question of the year.
