Seems to get rattled when he gets lit up a few times. Passes to the defense then. I believe the path to success is to blitz him and still keep a spy back in case he runs. Means corners will need to man up and play on an island.

Everything is falling in place for the gris so it might be their year, goddamn that makes me sick saying it. Think of how they won their playoff games, just crazy ****** what 3 punt return touchdowns, kickoff return touchdown, a wr pass to complete a two point conversion, 2 OT wins. Then if you watched the NDSU game, NDSU had so many wide open drops, it was astounding. Then to boot the weather for travel down to Frisco looks great for them so they won’t have to deal with the ****** show MSU and all the fans had to deal with on the trip down to Texas. Hate ‘em’ every single one of them, at least right now anyways.
Take two aspirin, get plenty of rest, drink lots of water, keep a garbage can close to the bed. You’ll feel better in about a week.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 10:08 amEverything is falling in place for the gris so it might be their year, goddamn that makes me sick saying it. This all correct... and it all happened in Washington Grizzly Stadium. Massive difference playing at a neutral site, against a team that is better than UM at nearly every position. SDSU will not miss a bunch of wide open receivers for TDs. They won't have 7 false starts. They won't be penalized 17 times with the Griz getting penalized twice. They probably won't kick to Bergen, but if they do, they're idiots. They probably won't turn the ball over four times as they are an extremely veteran, Senior laden team. This area is the only prayer for the Griz faithful IMO.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 10:08 amEverything is falling in place for the gris so it might be their year, goddamn that makes me sick saying it. Not sure which I dislike more, Journos or gris...WalkOn79 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 11:03 amUM is a journalism school. Of course they get more press. Does anyone else feel like there's an extreme amount of press on the gris? Was there this much when the Cats made it in 2021? Maybe, but seems like more this time.

True, and I highly doubt they'll get away with all those outside of WA Griz. Also, yes I understand the refs aren't from Missoula, but they definitely get the majority of calls go their way when playing in that stadium, it's just the way it works. We are probably in the same boat in Bobcat Stadium, IMO.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 1:42 pmI believe you are correct but it is worth pointing out that if the call of holding against the gris is still on vacationcatatac wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 12:54 pmThis all correct... and it all happened in Washington Grizzly Stadium. as it appeared to be in the NDSU game then the gris will at least be able to hang around.
That would be hilarious! I remember a bunch of Griz fans making fun of the Cats for getting to Frisco and "embarrassing the state" by getting beat by NDSU by 28 points. That is one of many reasons where I would NEVER want the Griz to win that game, and I hope they get beat by more than 28.
The playoff teams with the softest defenses went home early. The top two defenses among the playoff teams are remaining. It should be fun.catatac wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2023 3:46 pmThat would be hilarious! All that said, I don't think it will be that much of a blowout, I'm sticking with a couple TDs.
Side note, Griz opened as 13.5 point underdogs. Have the Griz EVER been 13.5 point underdogs in an FCS game, ever? I doubt it.

I'm surprised several Griz players aren't going to pull a Florida State mass exodus knowing damn good and well they're going to get curb stomped just as bad as Georgia did to FSU. Still can’t figure out why Bergen is playing in this game, if he willing to flip schools because of a coaching change, then he’d surely leave for “greener” pastures $$$$$ right??Cat Grad wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 12:38 pmI'm surprised several Griz players aren't going to pull a Florida State mass exodus knowing damn good and well they're going to get curb stomped just as bad as Georgia did to FSU. Daddy warbucks. Their collective is ******, but they have a guy I don’t know if his name is Wa-Gris or Denny, but they have deeper pockets to keep players, even if they don’t have an organized well oiled collective like Brandon has set up for MSU.autocat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 12:55 pmStill can’t figure out why Bergen is playing in this game, if he willing to flip schools because of a coaching change, then he’d surely leave for “greener” pastures $$$$$ right??Cat Grad wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2023 12:38 pmI'm surprised several Griz players aren't going to pull a Florida State mass exodus knowing damn good and well they're going to get curb stomped just as bad as Georgia did to FSU.
