Frisco Ticket Prices

Post by Mrs TrackCat » Wed Dec 27, 2023 8:22 pm

When we purchased FCS Championship tickets in 2021 through MSU, I believe our tickets were just a little over $100 each. Just curious what tickets normally cost when purchased as soon as they become available through the ncaa. I am seeing some being offered well north of $500. T.I.A!

Giving a ticket price without a seat location is terrible incomplete information. $125 for a seat between the 40 yd lines you made out like a bandit. the same price for end zone or near end zone, meh. I had 12 tickets between the 40 yd lines, sold some to neighbor friends for a small profit and sold the rest for more than double what I had into them. I'm not going to gouge neighbor/friends even if their biggest fault is being gris fans, but others, let the market tell me what the price should be.

Two years ago when NDSU was the only decent-sized fanbase who thought they were going to Frisco (when tickets went on sale), tickets were easier to come by. This year you had NDSU, SDSU, and MSU fans all buying tickets when they came out, as well as maybe a few smaller fan bases that had a chance to be there. I doubt many UM fans bought tickets before about a month ago, and I bet there weren't any available. MSU and NDSU fans were sitting on a pile of tickets and it sounds like a lot of them still are. I've talked to gris fan friends of mine who aren't going because they're saying they can't find tickets for less than $500. Those prices will go down, but MSU and NDSU fans with tickets have a little spite and I'd imagine there are a few that would rather eat their tickets than sell them for cheap. I also think with MSU and UM fans looking at flights to DFW over that weekend, the algorithm has pushed the price of plane tickets up significantly. It's gotten to be a pretty expensive trip.

standing room only has already dropped from $250 + fees to $165 + fees. saw a few other seats at $225 earlier today in end zone.

It’s not gouging in a free market. After AXS fees and taxes I’m in at $2400 for 4 tickets in Frisco. I paid $1200 for 3 tickets to the Orioles ALCS game 2 in October, and $620 for 2 tickets for Florida @LSU in November As far as I’m concerned, all were worth every dollar spent.

    I guess that’s okay if you don’t mind paying that kind of cash. I paid $600 for six tickets two years ago. Of course, I just wasted $900 on three Denver Bronco tickets, so they get us all in the end.

Wait until 2-3 days before the game and buy SRO for $10. The stadium is great for SRO. There is a concourse all the way around the field that is very wide and has great sight lines to the field.

I wonder if there will be any tickets available? I still know several Griz fans scrounging for tickets. The dark pinks do have a huge following and of the 25,000 people that pack that stadium every game, you'd think at least half of them are trying to make it to Frisco, not to mention all the other Griz fans all over the country that are going to this game. Problem is, I think that stadium only holds 20,000 and you know at least half are going to be SDSU fans that bought early.

Two years ago, I drove to Denver and flew from there because airfares from Montana were so out of whack.

The way the algorithm works is it’s Montana to Dallas. I was going with a buddy that lives in Colorado Springs. It cost me $700 to fly to CS. Stay Thursday night at his place. Fly to Dallas (there’s a direct flight from there) on Friday. On Sunday fly back to CS, then to SLC and back to Mt. Flight to Dallas were $2500.
You could probably fly to Vegas, kick it for 24 hrs and then get a direct flight for the game. Fly back to Vegas and ultimately Montana for a lot cheaper.

I hope everyone who has been trying to sell Frisco tickets was able to. I haven’t looked at ticket prices lately, but I am curious what they are going for now.

Anywhere from $185 to over $50,000 per ticket. That shouldn't even be legal. I mean that might be a hoax, scam, I don't know... but there are several listed into the thousands of dollars.
