That was game 2 of the season…SDSU was missing players and SDSU the griz NDSU all got better as the season went on, the cats never seemed to gain any momentum as the season went on. Yes on roster cats were right there with griz and SDSU but they lacked in execution in the big games.

The way I remember it was he said he really likes it at UM, his friends are there and he wants to continue playing there.
If all the sudden someone offers him $xxx,xxx he may decide he wants the $ more and give one of those "that being said, goodbye" letters.
Would it surprise anyone if Uncle Denny made a good enough offer to keep him at UM?

Are they? There was the NDSU LB that went someplace else a couple years ago. We lost a couple. I would be surprised if they didn't lose a couple too. They aren't going to lose people before they play the natty. Unless that person is not a great teammate.

NDSU has lost some players to the portal. Kept some though so very similar to the Cats. I expect Gronowski to head to the Big 10 with his OC.

I think Gillman will enter the transfer portal. Bergen I'm not sure. He never gave the definitive "I am staying in Missoula" but instead said "its my plan to stay in Missoula" which to me leaves the door open. Plans change after all.

We'll find out soon who's staying and who isn't, personally I don't wish major transfer portal losses on anyone after the experience last spring of watching the total destruction of MSU's men's basketball roster.

Why? He’s a secondary option for them in that system and an excellent punt returner but that doesn’t change them losing their best players on defense along with still having a good but not great offense. They played above their record this year and a lot of things went right for them, yet they still struggled to win their final two homes games when it mattered and got clowned by the SDSU defense yesterday when it mattered most.
