Bergen staying…any official word on Gillman I know his brother committed but nothing official…regardless if no WR leaves the qb is gonna be surrounded with weapons and will return 2022 starting TE who didn’t play this year due to injury and was really productive when he did play.

No official word yet on Gillman. However, everything indicates that he’s returning in 2024. I've heard that the trio (Fontes, Bergan, and White) are all staying. O-Line is the position group I'm worried about.Word is Grimsrud is hanging it up, but that is just a rumor as of now. Grossman has also put on 25 pounds since last season, looking for his third consecutive All-American status this coming season.jgrilley406 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:50 pmBergen staying…any official word on Gillman I know his brother committed but nothing official…regardless if no WR leaves the qb is gonna be surrounded with weapons and will return 2022 starting TE who didn’t play this year due to injury and was really productive when he did play.

At the very least Gubner was but he’s out of eligibility. Guy was a gamewrecker. Bergen could play G5 easily.

With what? The only smack I've talked regarding players is RJ Fitzgerald. 99% of your fanbase talks smack about the Hauck family. What I did was no different. Fitzgerald was a good player, and I have nothing against him personally. If that cements me as a bad apple, everyone who participated in the look alike thread, by your standard, is a bad apple.Cataholic wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:19 pmPretty sure you have cemented yourself in the bad Apple group.1890Griz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 5:13 pmThere are bad apples in both Fanbases. There will still be players that hit the transfer portal in the Spring, for both the Cats and the Griz.

Maybe this has been discussed, but isn’t this exactly what FSU just got in trouble for? I don’t really care because I know this is happening everywhere and even the most naive can see it, but this is what brint said on egriz.
“We've got some guys we're trying to help through our NIL and rapid support could be the tipping point. I'm told that those who donate at QB Club levels ($1000 or higher) will get it counted and considered. If you can donate tonight just know you're helping to ensure we've got some quick funds to help keep our Griz on roster.

Re: Which Players from the Chipper hit the Portal this week?
From the Washington Posts article , written by Matt Bonesteel.
According to the NCAA, the player entered the transfer portal and contacted the assistant — identified in media reports as offensive coordinator Alex Atkins — about making an official visit to Florida State. During the visit, which reports say took place in the spring of 2022, Atkins transported the player — identified by the Associated Press as Georgia tackle Amarius Mims — to and from an off-campus meeting with the booster, who at the time was CEO of a Florida State NIL collective. The booster later offered Mims and his family an NIL deal worth approximately $15,000 per month over his first season, the NCAA alleges, though he decided to remain at Georgia and did not receive any benefits.

And for good reason. Hauck has routinely disrespected, dismissed, belittled and sneered at ANYTHING remotely related to MSU Bobcat Football. The Streak was bad for the rivalry, but Bobby has undoubtedly been worse. His petty disregard for MSU is the main reason that most Bobcat fans cannot stomach the thought of ever rooting for UM.1890Griz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:25 pmWith what? Regarding Robbie, he's a chip off the old block. Doesn't help that he was NAIA talent at best, yet Daddy designed a defense - and made sure the stats guys padded numbers - to funnel plays towards him to artificially inflate his tackle numbers. Jumping on piles late (gotta get them 1/2 tackles!), cheap shots, twisting ankles, the kid was a punk. It's a crying shame that no-talent scrub is now in the record books as the BSC's all time leader in tackles, when the actual/rightful leader - MSU's Kane Ioane - was a multiple year All American, Buck Buchanan runner up that worked for every tackle he ever made, and was no doubt one of the top 5 safety to ever play in the conference. It was a record that had stood for over 2 decades (for good reason).
Like it or not, BH and RH have EARNED every bit of shade thrown their way.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I just have to saw can we not do the egriz thing of calling players by a mis-name on purpose. Do it to Hauck that's fine. But come on let's call McDowell by his name. Respect those college students.
Also, to add to the earlier discussion, I was at the game that Ah Yat played during in Missoula this year. I thought he looked like the best qb on their team. Spins it good. Missed some throes but he's a true freshman. McDowell took too many sacks. Unfortunately for Ah Yat Bobby has a history of bringing in transfers to start over homegrown talent.
I think it was a podcast I heard there was some NIL money out there for McDowell. So someone sees enough to do give him some.
Ah yat's dad played back when I would cheer for the griz in the playoffs. Bobby ruined that.

As another posted mentioned, the Hauck’s have earned everything they get. He is the epitome of hated rival. If you really are a teenager, you may not be aware of Hauck’s history. Crap like he only refers to MSU as State because “they are not worthy of the name Montana”.1890Griz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:25 pmWith what? Also, as for the bad Apple comment, do you go into a friends house and call them names or degrade them? I have never posted on egriz in my life. Makes no sense to me, and makes you look like a deranged fan, especially when you put down a player.
