Fun to see Osobar/Brown take over and win the game at the end. They both played 39 minutes!! Happy for them, but I found myself daydreaming about what could have been this season had Sprinkle and company stayed around. I have confidence in Logie….but we could have really seen something special this year.

I've come around over the course of the year from playing the "what if" game about this season to being more thankful for what Danny was able to accomplish in the time he was at MSU and appreciative of what he's still accomplishing at Utah State. The NCAA Tournament drought that had reached 26 years by the time it ended was an absolute anchor on the MSU program and Danny was the guy who was finally able to end that. I don't think he'll be at USU for as long as he was at MSU, and I think MSU hit a home run with the hire of Coach Logie despite the struggles the team has had this year due to the nearly impossible situation the new coaching staff inherited.

Hope you’re right. It’s been tough to watch UM take the state over this year like the dreary days of old. Our women did split with them but then came the beat down. It would be uplifting to Bobcat fans if both men and women teams make a strong showing in the tournament

Both the Griz teams are far more experienced than the MSU teams this year, so I'm not overly concerned about a single year's results. It would be nice to see both teams finish strong and win at least a game or two in the tournament. I think the MSU women will be right back at the top of the league next year with returning players from injuries and a talented sophomore class that got a ton of experience this year. The men's team will be more of a rebuilding process and there's one massive gap on the roster to fill with Ford's graduation, but I'm excited to see what Logie and staff can do with a full recruiting and off-season cycle to improve the team.

It was just a year ago that we swept them 5-0 in the three major sports, for maybe the first time ever? It is very disheartening to see them turn the tables this year, taking 4 out of 5, with the football game and the 2nd MBB and WBB games all being beatdowns. I hope this year proves to be just a blip, and not the beginning of a trend.
