MSU ranked and no NAU...could this be the year that someone finally unseats NAU as Big Sky champions?

No Oregon I thought their track program was top tier? And can't believe no NAU.

Ranked 20th last week. Wonder if some of those teams had good weeks or if some voters felt MSU had a bad week.

Is it a poll or based of rankings, times, marks of the athletes.

Not sure if this is different than whatever was tweeted out by MSU T&F last week about being 20th or what but if you look at the link I posted it shows that they were 23rd the previous week and now 25th.

I haven't figured out what MSU tweeted yet, but I did find out this is an objective ranking system based on individual team members and their national rankings in events. In week 1, MSU was 137th and the next week they were 23rd. Quite a jump, but nothing compared to Alabama, who went from 161st to 8th in the second week. Week 3 (current) they're 5th.

Both men and women teams are putting up a strong showing in Long Beach. My Twitter feed has about ten tweets of athletes putting up top ten performances. Lots of top threes in there.

Wow, that's very cool! The Big Sky Outdoor T&F Championship is in Bozeman next month, so everyone who can make it out there should cheer on the Cats to a Big Sky championship. Track & Field is super fun to watch live, there's constantly something going on as you can watch the various field events between races on the track.
